Meet the Team
We believe in the educational power of summer camp, especially when good role models are matched with an outcomes-based program.
We have created Change the World Camp to give campers the opportunity to develop skills that predict for success. We also expect the week-long program to be a blast, as well as something that campers can remember as a lasting contribution that they made in their community.
Here is a little bit more about the founders:
Erec is a skilled speaker, mentor, and youth development professional. He was the Boys Camp Director at Camp Champions from 2013-2016 and has 12 years of experience working on camp projects in Texas, North Carolina, and China. Erec grew up going to summer camp and has experienced fascinating growth opportunities at all levels: as a camper, counselor, age group leader, and director.
Erec graduated from UC-Berkeley with a degree in Integrative Biology. He is also a certified HeroPath Coach and and has run high school mentoring groups, leadership programs, and college transition workshops since 2010. Erec formerly played for a professional ultimate team, the Austin Sol.

George is an international education consultant, currently setting up 21st Century Learning, experiential education centers in China and America. He is driven by a passion to Crush Life. Simply put, he believes in loving those in your life, becoming the best version of yourself and building empowering worlds.
George sounds a little crazy, but passionate and driven people often do. His current and past projects include being on the Board of Directors and co-founder at the US Belt Wrestling Federation, aiming to preserve and promote traditional wrestling. He was also a camp director at Camp Champions in Austin, Texas. In his roles before youth development he held positions an Investment Banker and VP of Product Management at General Sentiment.
George studied Economics and Philosophy at Davidson College where he was also a Bonner Scholar and All-American Left Tackle. George spent his youth exploring the mountains of West Virginia, building dams in the creeks and becoming an Eagle Scout.
